The GrowGrows way

We promise to keep off the naughty step

Our commitment to you

We’re not going to pretend we’re perfect, far from it – but we’re working really hard to be the best possible version of the company we can be.

We want you to be proud of supporting GrowGrows, because of the way we support parents from all backgrounds and the way we care for the planet.

Now, that all sounds dead lovely, doesn’t it? But, it’s important to us that we actually walk the walk, rather than just talking about nice things that we could do.

We’ll level with you. We think there are a lot of brands out there that just pay lip service to this sort of stuff and that’s not cool.

Not cool at all.

It isn’t just our future’s, it’s our children’s

We hope we can make the children’s clothing industry a better place. One where real care is given to sustainability, where social responsibility is at the forefront and the environment is looked after properly, not as a marketing gimmick or after thought.

If we have to drag other brands kicking and screaming to get them to a better place… we’ll do it.

Just watch us.

We promise to help protect the planet and help people live a better life, rather than a mindless pursuit of profit.

Our goal as a company is to always deliver the best quality products for your little one and a great customer experience, with minimal environmental impact.

We’re always striving to make our products more sustainable, more responsible and to drive both economic and environmental improvements.

Eco-friendly

We’re all more mindful than ever about the ecological impact we’re having on our planet, which can only be a good thing. When we started researching into the baby and toddler wear market, we were pretty shocked to see many of the big players, high street names and retailers selling poor quality, high volume baby grows and sleep suits that had travelled twice around the world, originating typically from India or Vietnam.

We design our GrowSuits and the prints right here in Manchester, UK, with all of our products being made in Turkey, one of the world’s most respected cotton and textile producers.

Our factory is SEDEX certified (which is an international standard for social and ethical recognition), as well as holding ISO 9001: 2008, Okotex 100 Class 1, GOTS and BSCI.

Rainforest pledge

We protect 5 rainforest trees with each and every order made, saving 13 tonnes of co2 with every sale, via OneTribe. This helps fight the climate crisis by reducing Co2 in our atmosphere and instantly improving the carbon footprint of your purchase.

Did you know that protecting just one tree will absorb 4x more carbon than planting a new one?

Every month, or sales are tallied up and we make a payment to the Rainforest Trust UK.  These funds are then distributed by the Rainforest Trust to the relevant projects to get the money to the on-the-ground activities as quickly as possible.

Making their world a better place

We believe we need to lead by example when it comes to sustainability. Sure, we won’t get it nailed from day one but that shouldn’t stop us from doing our best. That’s why we committed to protecting 5 rainforest trees with every order but also by committing to become B Corp registered right from the get go.

We signed up (voluntarily and at cost to us) to commit to meeting the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.

We also create our GrowSuits to be sustainable – both from being made from sustainable bamboo cotton and organic cotton, as well as being made to last. We want and urge our community to give GrowSuits on, particularly via baby banks, so that our GrowSuits can continue their purpose long after their first life.
