The aim of baby banks is to support and empower families by ensuring every child has the essential items they need to thrive. They are powered primarily by amazing volunteers and typically run on professional referral from services such as health visitors, midwives and social workers.
It’s so important that families in need have somewhere to turn to when they need it. That’s why here at GrowGrows, we promote the donation of our products direct to local baby banks to help people in need.
As parents, we’re all used to gifting old toys and outgrown clothes to our friends and family, which is a great way to lengthen to lifecycle of products. Donating to baby banks also helps to lengthen the lifecycle of products, increasing their sustainability, but more importantly can help those baby banks continue to provide the immediate and practical help to parents and career when it’s most needed.
